To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first manned Lunar mission, the Republic of Cameroon has issued a breathtaking coin struck from 93.3 grams of .925 silver in stunning 55 mm with antique finish. The reverse made in relief sealed the legendary Aldrin’s bootprint on the virgin moon surface. The astronaut's space suit embodied on the obverse includes one of the most dazing features of its helmet - it shimmers with colors! Thanks to this creative tum, the imprint inspires the thoughts about what he really saw through the helmet on that special day. In contribution to the event the 3000 francs CFA coin is released with a total mintage of 500 pieces.
